Audi Excellence Awards 2019
On Friday the 21st of February 2020, the Ebbett Audi team had a fantastic evening attending the 10th annual Audi Excellence Awards.
This special occasion celebrates the outstanding 2019 achievements across a range of departments; sales, parts, finance, service, marketing and customer satisfaction across Audi dealerships nationwide. It is an exciting night for our country’s top Audi dealers who are consistently competitive.
The results of the event was something to be very proud of. The Ebbett Audi team finished 2019 with 3rd place in the overall Dealer of the Year category. Individual members of the team were also awarded.
Ben Aldred, our Apprentice Technician, took home an individual award this year, winning the Apprentice of the Year award.
Ben Allen, our Workshop Controller, has been selected to represent Audi NZ at the Twin Cup international competition in Germany later this year.
Another notable mention is the longtime winner/finalist streak held by James Jones – for the 5th time in a row in his category, Non-Metro Salesperson.
Members of our aftersales department both experienced the Twin Cup for the first time – Annika Lourens and Seranga Ishal. This can be a daunting task and they represented us credibly, it was invaluable experience for them both and the team looks forward to the next event.
Rugby coach legend, Steve Hanson, attended the award ceremony in his official debut since becoming Audis new brand ambassador. All event attendees were excited to get their picture taken with him and hear his talks over the evening.
This year, this event was held in at Tantalus Estate – a stunning, modern, open planned venue located on Waiheke Island, Auckland. The décor was only outdone by the views of rolling hills.
As always, Audi makes sure to celebrate its dealers in the nicest of ways. The food was of deliciously high quality for both ingredients and presentation. To top off the overall operations of the event, New Zealand’s own Madeleine Sami, was an entertaining and welcoming guest speaker to host the evening.
