Ebbett Audi Fashion Show 2021
Thursday the 22nd of July played host to a night of fashion and the launch of the 2021 Audi RS e-tron GT.
Audi continue their electric movement with the expansion of the e-tron range. The e-tron GT is the Gran Turismo of the future, featuring full time electric drive on Audi’s coveted full time quattro all-wheel drive system. To launch such an innovative, exciting piece of art, we invited our customers and VIPs to a night of local art.
Supported by some of the biggest names in New Zealand fashion, we put on a show in our transformed showroom. ACLX went to work creating an experience for the senses, with a sound, lighting and visual display of the highest quality. Our showroom was brought to life, and the stage was set for our guests to bare witness to the best New Zealand fashion has to offer.
Upon arrival our guests were welcomed with champagne and canapes served by the fantastic Kerr & Ladbrook catering, a fantastic array of flavoursome bites were enjoyed by our some 200 guests. We really enjoyed being able to spend time with our customers after what had been a disruptive year, and in the wake of not being able to host our show in 2020.
The show begun as the models hit the runway, the beautifully themed floor graphic printed and installed by CMYK paved the way for our local models to display a range of garments from our fashion designers and boutiques. Audi ambassadors Juliette Hogan and Steve Dunstan from Huffer, were joined by the incredibly talented designer Mitchell Vincent, and boutiques Harper Inc, TRUE and Sisters on London, with the latest pieces of fashion for our guests to experience.
Our partners Ktizo ensured the models looked stunning and were prepped to represent our designers and boutiques in world class fashion. The latest in hair styling was brought to the runway thanks to the stylists at Ktizo, all our models were very excited to be treated to an afternoon of pampering before taking to the floor.
The RS e-tron GT was introduced by Audi New Zealand’s General Manager Dean Sheed, explaining the significance of the e-tron range and electric vehicles for the future of the automotive industry. Our Dealer Principal Andrew Unternahrer welcomed our guests before introducing our Compère for the evening, the lovely Tamsyn Rose, former Miss Waikato and international model. Tamsyn’s knowledge of the fashion industry made her a perfect fit for the evening as she charmed our 200+ guests.
We would like to thank all of our guests who joined us for an evening of celebration. This has been our biggest turn out to date for a vehicle launch and we are very grateful for the support from our community. It was great to see so much passion and curiosity around the new Audi RS e-tron GT and we hoped you all enjoyed the night.
