With precise electric motor control at fractions of a second, e-POWER delivers powerful and smooth acceleration when you need it. The electric motor’s instant torque output and acceleration performance helps you stay ahead of traffic. In high power demand situations, such as strong acceleration when entering a highway, the petrol engine and generator are used to keep the battery pack charged and can directly power the electric motor.

e-POWER was first introduced in Japan in 2016 with the Nissan Note. At its core is the same 100% electric motor-driven technology used in the Nissan LEAF to deliver instant torque, power, efficiency and excitement.
