Tony Coutinho becomes CEO of Ebbett Toyota

We are delighted to announce that Tony Coutinho has joined Ebbett Toyota as CEO.

Tony brings extensive experience of the automotive market having previously held the position of Group General Manager of the Giltrap Group’s retail division.

He comes from a family of three generations of motor industry workers and started his career “on the tools” as an apprentice, developing a reputation for his values-based leadership.

Tony will take over from Richard van den Engel, who became CEO in October 2018. Since that time, Ebbett Toyota have reclaimed top spot in the Waikato for car registrations and Ebbett Toyota also received the 2019 Excellence in Leadership award from Toyota New Zealand. Richard will take now on his new responsibilities as Executive Director of the Ebbett Group.

Tony began his CEO role on 3 August.
