Community & charity groups we support

The Rotary Club of Mount Victoria is affiliated with Rotary International and was formed and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Wellington East. The club has a number of charitable projects that aim to benefit the Wellington community.

JohnstonMotors is proud to support the excellent work of the Rotary Club of Mount Victoria.

The girls volleyball team held a family-friendly fundraising event catering for families and competitive teams. It involved teams of 4 playing Volleyball in a round-robin format. This was a great fun event, with over 14 teams and a hundred people attending on the day.

The Ebbett WE LOVE VW team supplied the Amarok BBQ and all the bread and sausages, as well as some awesome prizes for a lucky dip. The Ebbett team helped raise $600 for the girls' volleyball team, so they could attend the North Island Junior Championships.

The NZTBA represents and advocates for New Zealand breeders on a variety of national and international issues. The current membership stands at approximately 1300 and is split into eight regional branches.

The Ebbett Volkswagen team has supported the NZ Thoroughbred Breeders Association by donating our WE LOVE VW campervan as an auction item at the NZTNA National Breeding Awards on the 30th of July 2022.

The Cambridge Middle School Krakens Water Polo team has been making waves in the Waikato region, consistently showing dedication and passion for their sport. The Krakens team won the Waikato Intermediate Competition in 2023, which was a huge success for the start of the season.

Ebbett Volkswagen provided the team with brand-new uniforms, togs, and also supplied the Amarok BBQ to help the team further fundraise through sausage sizzles.

Cambridge Football Club fields senior men’s and women’s teams, and caters for about 500 boys and girls aged 4-16. The club also has youth teams to help juniors make the transition to senior football.

Cancer Kids First was founded by high school student Olivia Zhang at the age of 14. She had hoped to honor two of her loved ones while spreading love to a vulnerable community. Cancer Kids First's founder and volunteers now dedicate their lives to helping kids battling this disease.

Starship Children's Health provides a wide range of complex medical, surgical, cardiac and mental health services for children and young people throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific. It aims to lead the nation in paediatric training and research.

Ebbett Pukekohe has provided donations & support that has contributed to the construction of a childrens' burns unit.

What Koru Care is best known for is taking groups of children with major or terminal health issues to far-away fantasy destinations such as the Gold Coast, Australia and California, USA. Other activities include supplying educational and play equipment, setting up toy libraries, taking children on special day excursions and an annual Christmas Cruise.

For over 50 years, the life-saving Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter service has assisted the Greater Auckland, outer islands and Coromandel communities. With the community's goodwill and support, they can assist patients and their loved ones in their greatest time of need.

The Breast Cancer Foundation is promoting breast awareness and early detection to all women and men; they are helping break down the barriers that stop every eligible woman getting her mammogram; and they're actively encouraging the development and testing of new technologies for early detection.

The Pukekohe Motorcycle Club is a community-based organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting motocross and off-road motorcycling in the Pukekohe region. Catering to riders of all ages and skill levels, the club hosts regular race events, training days, and family-friendly gatherings. With a strong focus on rider development, sportsmanship, and safety, the Pukekohe Motorcycle Club plays a key role in fostering local motocross talent and maintaining a passionate and welcoming community for enthusiasts of the sport.

Founded in 1974, Clarks Beach Bowling Club facilitates womens and mens bowling on their state of the art greens.

Social & competitive croquet for all ages in the heart of Pukekohe.

Supporting kids in care, aged 0-17 years old, by making each child a special care pack that has been thoughtfully put together by amazing volunteers, with products donated by the local community. It's about making a difficult time just a little bit easier.

You will see the Kids In Need Volkswagen Transporter Van and the all-new Amarok Ute on the road, driving throughout the Waikato helping many families.

Aotea College serves a strong and vibrant community, and a firm sense of connection and belonging is an important aspect of good quality secondary education, close to home. The college provides a broad and responsive curriculum where students can engage positively in learning, both within and beyond the classroom.

IDFNZ is dedicated to provide New Zealand families struggling with chronic illness relating to Primary Immune Deficiency (PID). IDFNZ was first incorporated in 1989 and is proud to have served this section of the New Zealand special needs community for over 34 years.

In 1998, Kiwi kids got to experience the very first Special Children’s Christmas Parties in New Zealand. Now, every year in New Zealand, nearly 10,000 Kiwi children with special needs, challenging life or health circumstances are invited to a party like no other.

Dementia Wellington (formerly Alzheimers Wellington) offers advice, support and education free to anyone affected by dementia in the Wellington region. We provide education on brain health and dementia to community groups, businesses and the wider public.

Central Kids Early Education has been providing high quality, affordable early childhood education and care since 1951.
