Painstakingly reborn after 24 months of full restoration by Francis and the team at Franklin Motor Company in Ramarama, this NZ 1973 Series 3 lives to fight another day.
 
Reimagined in Signal Red with new old stock ebony leather, teak flooring, period Momo wooden steering wheel and Marshall bluetooth sound "The Daime" is a one-off masterpiece, with every panel, pane of glass, nut and bolt, being replaced to the highest standard. The Daime was found with a 2.5 litre Daimler Dart V8 hence the name, this has also undergone a full rebuild now featuring twin double Webber carbs and full custom stainless exhaust system matched to a 5-speed manual transmission, it's not exactly how it left the factory and its evident to anyone within earshot this is not your ordinary Land Rover.
 
This is our third restomod by Franklin and i would challenge anyone to find anything better finished product worldwide.
