A Special Dream for Janice
Taking to the Skies
As part of our Build Your Dream – Powered by BYD campaign, we were recently honoured to grant a very special dream for an incredible woman in our community.
Janice has dedicated her life to caring for others. As a heart doctor at Waikato Hospital, she has touched countless lives with her compassion, expertise, and tireless commitment. Though originally from the UK, she has made the Waikato her home, and her impact here has been immense.
When we received a nomination for Janice, it was clear just how loved and appreciated she is. The request was simple yet meaningful — the chance to experience the thrill of a helicopter ride. A way for the community to give something back to someone who has given so much.
With the support of our friends at Helicorp, Janice and three of her closest friends took to the skies, flying from Hamilton to Raglan and back on a breathtaking 45-minute journey. From the moment we arrived, Janice’s face lit up with a smile that never left. Seeing her joy as she soared above the Waikato was a reminder of what this campaign is all about — creating moments that matter.
This was truly a dream come true, and one we feel privileged to have been part of.
A heartfelt thank you to Helicorp for helping us make this experience possible. Together, we created a memory for Janice and her friends that will be cherished forever.
